summer laerning journey weaving a tale

I think wax weaving I would be intristed in beacuse I would luike to know how to weave.
Also I would like to know how strong the leaves are that they weave with. which wonders from that image I wonder how they mad that bag.

    Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Weaving a Tall Tale..." and for telling us whether or not you'd like to have a go at weaving harakeke (flax). I'm pleased to hear that you're interested in it because you would like to know how to weave. The harakeke is incredibly durable— did you know that Māori used to use harakeke to weave mats to sleep on, baskets to carry their food in, as well as rope to pull with? When the harakeke dries, it hardens, thereby making the weave that much stronger.
    I wonder if you could ask one of your teachers if they could show you how to weave?
