I would not like to be in a Waka Ama race one day, because it looks tough. I think the water is hard to row against. The men looked very strong and their arms were working hard.

I often take my kayak out so I can get some exercise and I can say, it’s a lot of hard work. You need lots of upper arm strength which I think I am slowly building up! Have you ever been on a Waka or kayak before?
