  1. Kia Ora Andrew,

I'm so happy to see that you've joined us for the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) programme— welcome! I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but I came in to your class and also spoke at your assembly in November.
I'm really glad that you've taken the initiative to jump on and blog with us.
I like your slide show about how you celebrate birthdays in your family. It's unfortunate that you stay home for your sister's birthday, is this her decision?
I've been to Miranda hot pools! I went there about 3 weeks ago with my friend and it was really beautiful and relaxing.

We are thrilled that you've registered for the Summer Learning Journey with us. I know it can sometimes be tricky to get started. I have included a link to the week one activities, but remember you can do them in any order! Check out the activities on our website, and then post your responses to the activities here on your blog site.

I really look forward to reading your posts :)

    Cheers,

  2. Hi Andrew!

Great to have you join us for the Summer Learning Journey. My name is Cadence and I will be working with your cluster this summer alongside Jordan!

What an awesome first post! I enjoyed reading about how you and your family celebrate your birthdays!
When I was younger, my favourite place to go was Lone Star. I would order a plate of ribs and eat the entire thing. I can no longer achieve that now :D

Hope you had a fantastic Christmas and new year’s!

Thanks so much for sharing this awesome post, we can wait to see more of your Summer Learning Journey posts!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Happy Blogging!

    Cadence :)
