To Mr Tezlaff,
I think year 5's to ride bikes/scooter because barely any of them are on the bike rack and it will be great exercise for people who live quite far so it would be nice.
I am year 5 and I know the road rules and I ride with my sister and parents. PCS is a travelwise
school so I think lots of people should be able to ride bikes/scooters. I walk to school but riding would mean that I get to school faster. I hope you will consider to change the age so I can ride this year.

Week 3, Bonus Activity: A Bilingual Schooling System - Letter to your Principal
Hi jordan and caydence have you seen this post?
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Andrew,
DeleteHow are you going? Great to see a very convincing letter to your principal.
You have made some great points in this letter regarding the benefits of lowing the age that you can ride your bike/scooter to school. Exercise is important and so is time! I am always looking for a fast way of getting to work so I can relate to you on that topic. What is the age that students can ride their bike to school at PCS?
I’m curious, why do you think there is an age restriction for younger students riding their bikes and scooters to school?
Keep up the great work Andrew! Jordan and I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog posts and all the hard work you put into each one.
Best wishes,
Cadence
What an awesome letter! I think you should send this to your principal. I think you have made some awesome points, riding is great exercise and it helps you be independant. Perhaps you could talk to some other students to see if they feel the same as you, and get them to also write to the principal.
